Pace University Computer Learning Center (PCLC) is the ONLY Red Hat Linux Academy training partner in the greater NYC/Westchester area.
Now that Linux has become the preferred operating system for Internet servers, the need for Linux skills in the IT industry has never been greater. In fact, the demand for experienced Linux professionals has more than doubled in just two years in NYC and Westchester alone. (Source: SkillPROOF, Inc., 2006)
Pace University’s Computer Learning Center (PCLC) is the ONLY Red Hat Linux Academy in greater NYC, Westchester, Fairfield County and New Jersey. As a Red Hat Academy partner, we are held to the high training standards set by Red Hat Linux, and use official Red Hat Linux curriculum, materials, and certified Red Hat Linux instructors.
As a Linux Red Hat Academy partner, we provide a more comprehensive and effective syllabus than non-affiliated Linux training centers. On average, over 90% of Red Hat Linux Academy partner students obtain certification—more than double the success rate (<45%) of 4-and 5-day training programs.
We offer Red Hat Linux training for both RHCT (Red Hat Certified Technician) and RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification. Linux RHCT certification establishes first level Linux credentials, while Linux RHCE certification confirms the ability to configure networking services and security on servers running the Red Hat Linux OS.
