Course Description:
Learn to create documents using the newest version of Word. Create and edit, correct spelling and grammar as you type, and format and print your work. Students will also create beginning macros and use Mail Merge to create form letter.
Audience: New to MS Word for Windows users.
Prerequisite: Introduction to the PC or familiarity with the Windows environment. Ability to type is recommended.

Objectives
Create, edit, save and print documents
Use the Help function
Use the Word for Windows Toolbar and Ruler
Save and open files
Use centering, bold and underline to enhance documents
Copy, move, delete, enhance and restore selected text
Use Speller, Thesaurus, AutoText, and AutoCorrect feature
Create envelopes
Set tabs and margins
Use the Search and Replace feature
Set page breaks, page numbers and headers and footers
Use Mail Merge
Record and run a macro
Create a document based on a template or wizard

 
             
  Cancellation Policy: Withdrawals made fewer than seven working days prior to the workshop are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No-shows (participants who do not attend and have not withdrawn) will forfeit the entire workshop fee. Pace reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops as necessary.
