Course Description:
This full day program which will help participants who have some expereince with MS Excel become more productive and proficient with descriptive statistics.
Audience: Users who have had a beginning course in Excel and need instruction in creating simple and more complex Excel formulas.
Prerequisite: Experience using Microsoft Excel.

Objectives
Learn basic Statistics and Pivot tables
Installing and using Analysis Toolpak
Find Mean, Mode, Median, Minimum and Maximum values in Excel
Use more descriptive statistics
Use Standard Deviation, Variance, Modifying a chart, Histogram, Intervals
Learn Quantiles, Quartiles, Percentiles and Box Plots in Excel
Use CrossTabs and Pivot tables efficiently
Learn Pivot Table Filters and additional features
Learn to create efficiently a stem and leaf display
Use Confident intervals.
Use Correlation and Regression in Excel

 


             
  Cancellation Policy: Withdrawals made fewer than seven working days prior to the workshop are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No-shows (participants who do not attend and have not withdrawn) will forfeit the entire workshop fee. Pace reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops as necessary.
